Consultancy for Behaviour Change & WASH Technical Expertise (East Africa Region)
Sightsavers and its partners are working towards a world free from neglected tropical diseases (NTD’s), to support this aim we require the expertise of a behaviour change and WASH technical consultant in east Africa.
The consultant will be required to provide advice that ensures the strategic alignment of our behaviour change/WASH interventions with the goals of our NTD projects across east Africa. Based in our regional HQ in Nairobi, the consultant will be expected to travel to and liaise with Sightsavers staff and partners across Kenya and in Tanzania, Ethiopia and Zimbabwe, with some additional travel to Uganda, Zambia and west Africa, particularly Nigeria.
Building on the accomplishments of our projects to date, the successful consultant will have extensive behavior change and WASH experience and a strong understanding of how to establish stakeholder consensus. The consultant must also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to proactively problem solve using their own initiative.
Rate offered: USD 150.00 – 250.00 per day or equivalent KSh figure.
